This Governing Law & Jurisdiction Policy sets out the law that governs your relationship with Sannidhi: Sacred Seeds of Yoga (“Sannidhi”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and how disputes are resolved. It applies to your use of https://www.sannidhi.yoga, the student dashboard, and all Courses and services, and forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Governing Law
These Terms, all of our policies, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
2. Jurisdiction
Subject to the dispute-resolution provisions below, the courts at Kolkata, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
3. Dispute Resolution
3.1 Amicable resolution
The parties will first try to resolve any dispute amicably. Please contact us at enquiry@sannidhi.yoga — most issues can be resolved this way, and we aim to do so within 30 days.
3.2 Arbitration (optional)
If a dispute is not resolved amicably, it may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator appointed by Sannidhi / mutually appointed. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Kolkata, India; the language shall be English; and the award shall be final and binding. Retain this clause only if you wish to use arbitration; consumer-protection rights may override mandatory arbitration in some cases.
3.3 Courts
Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief from a competent court. Where arbitration does not apply, the courts identified in Section 2 shall have jurisdiction.
4. Consumer Grievance Redressal
In addition to the above, consumers may have rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. For grievances, you may contact our Grievance Officer:

We aim to acknowledge grievances within 5 days and to resolve them within the timeframe required by applicable law.
5. Compliance with Local Laws
We make no representation that our Services are appropriate or available in every location. If you access our Services from outside India, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws. Any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence are not affected by this Policy.
6. Limitation Period
To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or relating to the Services must be brought within the period prescribed by the Limitation Act, 1963 / one (1) year of the date the cause of action arose, after which it shall be deemed waived.
7. Language
These Terms and policies are written in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only, and in the event of any conflict the English version prevails.
8. Severability
If any provision of these Terms or policies is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force, and the invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while reflecting the parties’ original intent.
